
Emma is Operations & Business Development Manager at Food Chain Enterprises. Emma has worked in the poultry industry for 17 years specialising in performance data analysis and knowledge transfer.
Experience
Emma graduated from Glasgow University with an Honours Degree in Animal Science. After completing a PhD on the voluntary feed intake of pigs fed poor quality feeds in 2002, Emma joined Aviagen Ltd., working initially on analysing and reporting trial data, before transferring to the Global Technical Transfer team, where she was responsible for producing the company’s technical literature and performance objectives.
Skills
Emmas’ experiences of writing technical literature has given her excellent written and oral communication skills. With her complete understanding of the integrated food chain and her strong editorial and communication skills she is in a unique position to practically communicate difficult topics. While her data analysing and interpreting skills are key for understanding and monitoring product performance. Emma has a good technical knowledge of the EU and Asian poultry industries.
