FCE to Run a Residential Processing Workshop in November, in Bangkok

We are delighted to announce that we will be running a residential workshop on Processing, from 1st to 4th November, 2002, in Bangkok, Thailand.

The poultry processing plant is a complex and diverse operation where minor changes directly affect the bottom line. This in-depth workshop will cover all aspects of poultry processing plant management to help the attendees and their businesses overcome the challenges of running a modern poultry processing plant.

The workshop will cover:

  • Pre-processing management
  • Processing plant design
  • Optimisation of product yield
  • Plant efficiencies/making money

and will be given by internationally experienced poultry experts.  This includes our own processing specialist who has over 30 years’ experience and possesses extensive working knowledge of modern poultry processing techniques, machinery and packing systems, plus specialist guess speakers.  The course will also include practical sessions in a working processing plant.

Meet the team

MICHAEL LONGLEY – Workshop Director

Michael has gained considerable experience in the poultry industry globally.  Initially working as a graduate trainee a UK based integrator, he progressed to become a Technical Service Manager with Aviagen covering Central, Eastern and Southern Europe. In 2005, Michael became Director of Live Operations for Ameta Holding in Bulgaria managing the companies poultry operations and over 350 employees of all levels. In 2007, he returned to Aviagen Inc USA as International Technical Service Manager. Stationed in Penang he was responsible for tech support to customers in Turkey, Middle East, Africa and Asia. In 2019 Michael moved back to Malaysia working as a consultant cum GM for one of the countries largest broiler integrations.

KASH LAL – Workshop Tutor

A poultry processing specialist with over 30 years experience.  Kash has extensive knowledge of modern poultry processing techniques, machinery and packing systems.  Kash has considerable experience of running poultry processing facilities, cutting lines and multiple retail packing lines as well as knowledge and experience of implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques, continuous improvement, and coaching/mentoring at all levels. Kash has built up his experience in Europe and also at one of the worlds largest poultry plants in Middle East.
